Hi, I’m Matthew Chiapetta, and I am the main owner and creator for the site. I write this site to have information available to people, who are seeking answers to their health questions. My goal with this site is to inform and educate people on what to eat and what not to eat in order to attain balance in our bodies.
I understand now that a body in balance does not have any energy problems, sleeping issues, headaches, random sharp pains, and high blood pressure, any of those things. (And a lot more) And the closest we can get to balance the better off we will be. I believe though that we need to change our diet just a little each time in order to discipline ourselves to the big picture of how we see our health in the long run.
I started this journey when I was very young, I was like most kids who dream of the jobs they want to have, and I dreamt of being a doctor in space. So obviously I needed to go to med school and the astronaut program… not so easy. But that was my dream for as long as I can remember. I really loved helping people, and watching their quality of life improve. I read all the books, medical journals, and anything I could get my hands on that had any medical claim to it.
Unfortunately I was living in less that desirable living standards, and when I left my parents home at 14, I was severely malnourished and the docs told me I would have severe health issues later in life. That was very scary. And it started to shift my mind towards nutrition and the effects of food. I learned really fast how to fatten myself up to look “normal” but it was another thing to fight back against all the programming, and keep myself balanced.
I have been fighting that fight for a long time, and I’m proud to say that now I have a handle on what to eat, how to eat, and where to get the best quality foods.
I did not go to med school, even though I had a full scholarship, instead I went to art school, (I know an abomination to the science community) because I discovered I would be in school for over 14 years, and 9 years of that was going to be in pharmaceuticals i.e. drugs. And as an advocate for natural over the substitution method, it didn’t agree with me, and I turned down my lifelong dream of a doctor but became more aggressive on finding a way to help people with food, instead of drugs. (Holistic medicine wasn’t really as popular as it is now)
I found the answer to this question in 2008 and haven’t looked back.
I write this website in the wake of learning lots of things along my life from credible people, and personal application. I felt it was time to put what I knew in my head, out in front of others and hopefully I could impact lives all over the world, to be healthier, and to have money, and live well.
Long story short, I am currently getting certified in Nutrition Diet and Health Sciences. So that I may have more credibility in my audiences eyes, and be able to clinically see someone problems and steer them in the right direction.
